Six questions encourage children to make a choice and explain their reasoning. Different answers are welcome when children can give a reason.

**Imagine it — Explore an idea**  
Six creative prompts invite children to invent, describe, or draw. There is no single correct answer.

### Answers and adult guidance

The final two pages include answers to the puzzles and example responses to the open-ended questions. Short conversation starters help parents and educators keep the discussion going without taking over.

## How to use these worksheets

- **Choose one sheet or one question.** There’s no need to finish the whole pack at once.
- **Read aloud when helpful.** Ages 6-9 are a guide; reading confidence and puzzle experience vary.
- **Let children respond their way.** They can write, draw, speak, or act out an idea.
- **Ask about their thinking.** Try “What clue helped you?” or “How would your idea work?”
- **Give a small hint before an answer.** Leave room for children to make the next connection.
- **Keep the answer pages separate.** Print pages 1-6 for children and retain pages 7-8 for adults.

## For classrooms and home learning

Use a question as a lesson starter, a quiet-time activity, an early-finisher task, or a conversation prompt. Children can work independently, compare ideas with a partner, or discuss a question together.

The sheets require no special materials—just a pencil and, if children want to draw, some crayons or colored pencils.
